TORONTO — Nov. 19, 2009 — SAP Canada Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today announced that Data and Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless Inc. (DAVE Wireless) has selected SAP® Business All-in-One solutions to help enable the company’s entry into the wireless market in Canada. By leveraging built-in industry best practices from the SAP solution, DAVE Wireless will establish a scalable IT platform that will provide the company with the agility needed to grow quickly. The system is being implemented by IDS Scheer Canada.
Located in Toronto, DAVE Wireless currently holds 10 wireless licenses in key urban markets across Canada, covering over 16 million Canadians. DAVE Wireless is in the process of constructing its 3G wireless network in five of Canada's most populous markets: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. The high speed packet access (HSPA) network will give DAVE Wireless subscribers access to 3G smartphones and data devices, as well as excellent voice and data services. The network is scheduled to launch in early 2010.
