DAVE Wireless appoints John R. Barnett and Michael Moskowitz to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, Dec. 3 /CNW/ - Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless Inc. (DAVE Wireless) is pleased to announce the appointments of John R. Barnett and Michael Moskowitz to its Board of Directors.

"As we get closer to launching DAVE Wireless, we are further enhancing our Board's depth of experience and leadership," said John Bitove, Chairman of DAVE Wireless. "John and Michael bring valuable perspectives on the Canadian consumer and offer the Board a wealth of knowledge that complements our existing Directors. We are pleased to have these additional leaders of the Canadian business community join our Board."

John R. Barnett, President of Rothmans Benson & Hedges (RBH), has had extensive experience leading large, successful organizations in competitive, challenging and highly regulated industries for over two decades. Prior to moving to RBH in 1998, Mr. Barnett was President and CEO of Molson Breweries.

Michael Moskowitz, President and CEO of XM Canada (Canadian Satellite Radio), brings many years of executive leadership in the Canadian communications and consumer electronics industry. Formerly President, Americas International of Palm, Inc., Mr. Moskowitz oversaw the company in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2004, he was named a 'Top 40 Under 40' award recipient.

Messrs. Barnett and Moskowitz join Paul Godfrey and Michael Neuman on the DAVE Wireless Board of Directors. Mr. Godfrey is the publisher of the National Post and was recently asked by the Province of Ontario to chair the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Mr. Neuman is a former CEO of Bell Mobility.
