Toronto, ON – March 3, 2010 – Mobilicity is pleased to announce that Joe Prodan has joined its senior management team as Chief Financial Officer.
As CFO, Mr. Prodan oversees the new wireless carrier’s finance, legal and human resources departments, exercising a high degree of efficiency and fiscal conservatism. He has significant experience working at organizations with recurring revenue streams and long-term customer lifecycles.
“Joe brings tremendous value to our management team and business framework,” said Dave Dobbin, president and CEO of Mobilicity. “He has a solid track record of successfully ramping-up and running the finance and operations sides of subscription-based start-up companies. We are delighted to welcome him aboard.”
Mr. Prodan, a Certified Management Accountant, joins the new wireless carrier after four years as vice president of finance at SIRIUS Canada where he was a key member in its successful launch in Canada. In his role, he was responsible for the satellite radio company’s financial reporting, business planning and analysis, financial operations and administration.
Prior to joining SIRIUS, he was Director of Bell ExpressVu’s finance department, leading a large team responsible for financial reporting, subscriber billing operations, customer acquisition cost tracking and business analysis. As the company’s Director, Sales Operations, he managed the installation, warranty and distribution processes for over 3,000 national and independent dealers.
