Mobilicity names Doug Perry as Vice President of Sales

Toronto, ON – April 19, 2010 – Mobilicity is pleased to announce that Doug Perry has joined its senior management team as Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Perry will oversee the company’s sales operations, distribution and retail channel initiatives as it prepares to launch in Toronto this spring, and Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa later this year.

“Doug is one of the wireless industry’s top performers and brings with him a wealth of experience,” said Dave Dobbin, President and CEO of Mobilicity. “His addition to our senior management team is a big win as we prepare to launch Mobilicity to Canadian consumers looking for more value and simplicity in wireless.”

Mr. Perry is a longtime member of the Canadian wireless community, having spent nearly a decade at Rogers Communications in a variety of senior executive sales roles, including Vice President and General Manager at Rogers Wireless. In his earlier days at Rogers’ predecessor Cantel, he was Director of Indirect/Channel Distribution and Director of Distribution.

He recently served as Vice President of Corporate Sales for San Francisco-based Salesforce.com, a leading global provider of cloud computing, software-as-a-service and CRM solutions.

“Mobilicity has a very compelling proposition in store for consumers.” Mr. Perry said. “I’ve seen the wireless industry evolve and become increasingly more complicated. The good news is, Mobilicity is taking wireless in an exciting, new direction with unlimited plans and simple offers that Canadian consumers are going to find very appealing.”
